I’m Sean Tobin. My brother Kevin and I grew up in Old North Dayton, loading trucks for a local outfit before we ever owned one. We started Tobin Brothers Moving and Storage in 2011 on one plain rule: pad and strap every box like it’s our own mother’s, and put the flat price in writing first.

Diane Kowalski runs the office — scheduling, COIs, and Ohio paperwork. Marcus Feldman works the daily truck board across the I-75 corridor. On the trucks, Kevin leads pianos, gun safes, and antiques, Terrell Banks takes the long I-70 and I-75 hauls, and Cody Reinhart handles downtown lofts and Oregon District walk-ups.

Sean Tobin — Owner of Tobin Brothers Moving and Storage

I’m Sean. Tobin Brothers is just what it says — me and my brother Kevin. We grew up in Old North Dayton, put our own truck on the road in 2011, and ran it on one rule from day one: hand people a real written number before move day instead of letting an hourly clock climb on them. One truck became a yard full, but that rule never budged. You sign the price before a single item is loaded; the movers in your doorway are all our own uniformed, W-2 people, never subcontractors; and a call rings through to a Tobin or the front office, not some out-of-state call center. Years around the Miami Valley taught this crew what actually makes or breaks a Dayton move: Oregon District walk-ups and downtown lofts, split-levels and ranches out in Kettering and Centerville, a certificate of insurance and a booked elevator for the condo towers, and icy driveways we salt before a wheel turns. We hold every single job to that standard.

We handle: Every piece of furniture goes under a moving blanket, upholstery gets shrink-wrapped, and bed frames and table legs come apart into bags tagged with their own hardware.

What helps most: Mark each box with the room it’s headed to, and carry papers, keys and anything small and valuable yourself rather than loading them.

Load, haul, set down & review

We handle: Whoever loads the truck is who unloads it — pieces land where you point, beds go back together, and we haul off the packing debris.
